Earworm of the Month: Palm’s Backside – Toothless feat. Marika Hackman

If you take one quarter of one of your favourite bands and 1 whole of one of your favourite artists, what do you get?

Answer: Palm’s Backside.

Toothless is the musical baby of Bombay Bicycle Club’s Ed Nash and this track features the vocals of the ever-wonderful Marika Hackman. I’m not really sure what else you could want from a soft-indie summer song.

Self-produced with Jack Steadman, it won’t disappoint fans of Nash’s earlier work – full of rhythmic guitar, husky vocals and melodic bass lines, it has it all – it’s a winner.

After listening to it so much, you could say I know it like my palm’s backside…no? Okay. I’ll stop.

The video’s pretty great too, you can check it out below.
